A space for the body of Christ
The Prayer Room Starkville is dedicated to providing a space where the body of Christ from all backgrounds can engage in prayer, worship, intercession, and the proclamation of God's word. Our mission is to cultivate an environment of devotion to the Lord, unity, and revival within the Starkville community. Our vision is for the Prayer Room Starkville to serve as a neutral ground where the Body of Christ comes together to intercede for our city, that the gospel may go forth in the Starkville & Mississippi State community.

A city transformed by God
Our vision at the Prayer Room Starkville is to see our community transformed by the power of God, and for the gospel to go forth speedily in our community. We envision a city where the Body of Christ is united in fervent intercession, where lives are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, where Jesus is continuously glorified, and where the presence of God saturates every aspect of daily life. We strive for a Starkville where the Kingdom of God is evident in every neighborhood and where the love of God is made known to our city. We envision a house of night & day prayer in Starkville.

Our History
A decade of small beginnings.
2015
God's Idea
In 2015, the Lord began to share the idea of a community of consistent Prayer for the Starkville & MSU community
2017
Birthed at the Table
4 Friends gathered & began to dream of this word from the Lord. It became clear that now was the time
August 2017
The First Burn
The first 72 Hour "Burn" began. Fueled by college students from Mississippi State University, this weekend served as a time of revival in our community. We felt the call of the Lord to continue on. Tuesday Night's & monthly extended prayer never stopped since!
2023
Catalyst Internship
YWAM Starkville & The Prayer Room Starkville held their first internship. This internship birthed the Catalyst Intensive, a weekend of training that is held twice a year.
2024
Expanded weekly times
In 2024, we felt the Lord saying to "Double Down" We launched Monday & Friday morning Prayer rooms, along with our continuing Tuesday Night gatherings.
2026
Modern Day
Now in 2026, we host prayer & worship to the Lord every single day. We have 8 hours of prayer meetings each week, and love to see what God is doing in the Body of Christ in our city.
